A 48-year-old Missouri man wanted in connection with the shooting deaths of two people in Carroll County has been found dead in Illinois.
Ryan Munson had been formally charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
On Aug. 23, the case began when two bodies were discovered inside a Missouri residence.
Deputies located 46-year-old Bobbie Munson and 49-year-old Donald Horine dead at a home near Route MM and County Road 250 in Carroll County.
Both victims were from Carrollton.
Investigators said evidence recovered during the homicide investigation allegedly linked Ryan Munson to the shootings.
Those findings led to double murder charges and a multi-agency search for his whereabouts.

Then investigators developed information on where the fugitive had fled.
Federal and local investigators learned that Munson was hiding on a property in Decatur, Illinois.
On Wednesday, authorities located the 48-year-old suspect inside an RV on that property.
Munson was found dead.
Police believe Munson died from a gunshot wound.
And with his death, the criminal case will never reach a courtroom.
The manhunt is now over.
Two victims were found dead in Carroll County.
The man accused of killing them was later found dead himself, hundreds of miles away.
