A former dean of students at Walden Green Montessori has received decades behind bars.
Charles Martin Freeman, 38, learned his fate in court on Friday.
He was sentenced to 25 to 40 years in prison.
The penalty stems from a conviction for first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Freeman had formally pleaded guilty to the charge.
He admitted to sexually assaulting a child under the age of 13.
The acts occurred between 2024 and 2026.
Freeman formerly held the position of dean of students at Walden Green Montessori.

But the school fired him earlier this year.
Now, the former administrator faces decades of confinement.
Under the terms imposed, Freeman will also be required to register as a sex offender.
And he will be subjected to lifetime electronic monitoring if he is ever released from prison.
The handed-down sentence carries a strict 25-year mandatory minimum.
Because of that 25-year minimum term, Freeman will be in his 60s before he is even eligible for release.
He admitted to the abuse of a child under 13.
He lost his job at the Montessori school.
He received 25 to 40 years.
