A 46-year-old Wisconsin woman was sentenced to 120 days in jail after failing to call 911 while her sister was fatally attacked, authorities said.
Sara Pientka, 46, received the sentence after failing to seek medical help while her sister, Jeanette Pientka, was killed, authorities said.
The fatal attack reportedly followed an ongoing dispute over a family eviction, according to authorities.
Jeanette Pientka had been actively working to evict her sister and Lyndon Hood from a family home, according to officials.
On July 21, following an eviction hearing, Hood went to Jeanette Pientka’s Town of Carson residence, authorities said.
Hood then fatally attacked her inside the home, authorities said.

Pientka was allegedly present while her sister was attacked. She made no attempt to summon emergency assistance for her, authorities said.
The defendant was sentenced to serve 120 days in jail for failing to report the murder, court records show.
She was granted 19 days of credit for time already served. Her jail term will be followed by three years of probation, according to records.
Her probation terms require her to maintain full-time employment and write apology letters to each listed victim, court documents state.
The sentencing conditions also impose restrictions involving alcohol and controlled substances, alongside an order barring contact with Hood or listed victims, records show.
Hood faces separate murder charges in connection with the fatal attack, according to authorities.
Those allegations remain pending in court, with Hood expected to make his next appearance on September 16.
