“I WILL ATTACK HIM RIGHT HERE”!!! BELIEVE IT OR NOT, AUTHORITIES REPORT THAT CLARENCE WOODWARD HACKED JOSE MIRANDA TO DEATH IN A BRONX LAUNDROMAT BEFORE DYING IN CITY CUSTODY AT RIKERS ISLAND YEARS LATER.
Jose Miranda stopped by a laundromat in The Bronx to wash his clothes on a hot August day two years ago.
He was randomly hacked to death with a meat cleaver.
Miranda left behind two boys.
The location was the 303 Laundromat on East 170th Street.
Clarence Woodward had been freed on parole just a few weeks prior to the killing.
Woodward was a career criminal who had accumulated 27 prior arrests.
He strolled into the laundromat on East 170th Street.
He took one look at Miranda.
He chopped at Miranda’s legs and upper body until Miranda died.
Woodward died in custody this week at a jail on Rikers Island.
The circumstances of Woodward’s death remain unclear.
Mayor Zohran Mamdani addressed the inmate’s death on social media.
“I am deeply saddened by the death of a New Yorker in City custody at a jail on Rikers Island early this morning,” the mayor wrote.

“My thoughts are with his family and loved ones as they grieve this loss,” Mamdani added.
“We do not yet know the cause of death,” Mamdani declared in his statement, “but we do know that too many New Yorkers have died on Rikers Island.”
Woodward’s cause of death is not yet known.
The city government has not issued similar public condolences in support of the Miranda family.
Miranda’s orphaned children were left without their father.
As a young man, Mamdani went by the moniker Mr. Cardamom.
Under that name, he rapped in support of the Holy Land Five.
The Holy Land Five were convicted of routing millions of dollars to Hamas.
Mamdani has said little regarding victims of Hamas terrorist attacks.
Progressives previously pushed through a series of justice reforms altering bail and prison terms for criminal defendants.
The administration is expected to investigate the circumstances surrounding how Woodward died in custody.
The fatal attack on Miranda took place inside the Bronx business after Woodward’s release on parole.
Miranda lost his life inside the facility on East 170th Street.
Woodward later died while held in city custody at Rikers Island.
The circumstances of how he died remain undetermined.
