“I THOUGHT NOBODY WAS WATCHING”!!! BELIEVE IT OR NOT, AUTHORITIES SAY FOUR MEN WERE ARRESTED AND TEN MORE FACE CHARGES AFTER A MONTHLONG NORTH CAROLINA CHILD EXPLOITATION STING TARGETED ADULTS ALLEGEDLY TRYING TO ENGAGE IN ILLEGAL SEXUAL ACTIVITY WITH MINORS.
The monthlong undercover operation unfolded across western North Carolina throughout August.
Law enforcement designated the joint initiative Operation Shepherd’s Hammer.
The sting was conducted in Swain County.
It was carried out by the Swain County Sheriff’s Office and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation.
Authorities said investigators targeted adults allegedly attempting to engage in illegal sexual activity with minors.
Four men were taken into custody during the operation.
Officials identified one of the arrested suspects as Daniel Brown.
Paul Hampton was also taken into custody.
Bobby Connor was arrested as well.

Authorities named Roberto Valencia as the fourth suspect taken into custody.
The suspects are facing multiple charges stemming from the sweep.
Those offenses include attempted statutory rape, according to authorities.
And Valencia was also placed on a detainer by the U.S. government.
But the cases resulting from the operation extend beyond the initial four arrests.
Investigators said a total of 14 suspects were identified during the monthlong sting.
Ten additional people are expected to be charged in the coming weeks.
Four suspects have already been arrested.
Ten more are expected to face charges.
The charges are allegations and have not been proven in court.
