A 51-year-old New Hampshire man is facing multiple felony charges after an investigation into illicit digital files.
Police identified the suspect as Joel Page of Nashua.
The inquiry began with the monitoring of online activity.
Nashua police identified an IP address allegedly being used to possess and distribute child sexual abuse material.
Page then became the focus of the police investigation.
Detectives said the inquiry led to the discovery of thousands of illegal files.

In total, police say investigators uncovered more than 14,000 images and videos depicting the sexual abuse of children.

Police say artificial intelligence was allegedly used to generate additional exploitative content involving a real child.
