“DEPORT THEM ALL”!!! BELIEVE IT OR NOT, AUTHORITIES SAY BRITISH FAR-RIGHT COMMENTATOR MILO YIANNOPOULOS OVERSTAYED HIS OWN U.S. VISA… AND HE IS NOW IN ICE CUSTODY PENDING DEPORTATION.
British far-right commentator Milo Yiannopoulos was arrested on Thursday by U.S. immigration officials.
The arrest took place at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport.
He is now being held in ICE custody pending deportation.
According to the Department of Homeland Security, Yiannopoulos legally entered the United States in May 2019.
DHS says he later overstayed his legal status.
Then he failed to appear for an immigration hearing.
On July 22, an immigration judge issued a final order of removal after he missed that hearing.
Yiannopoulos is 41 years old.
He originally rose to prominence through Breitbart News.
He later became known for provocative commentary regarding feminism, Islam, immigration and conservative politics.
More recently, he worked with the rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West.
Yet Yiannopoulos has publicly supported aggressive immigration enforcement.
He previously called for “zero immigration” for 20 years.
Now DHS says he overstayed his own legal status in the country.
He is awaiting removal from the United States.
