“GET INTO THAT CLOSET AND DO NOT COME OUT”!!! BELIEVE IT OR NOT, FLORIDA AUTHORITIES SAY FOUR FAMILY MEMBERS REPEATEDLY ABUSED A 15-YEAR-OLD GIRL INSIDE THEIR HOME… AND ALL FOUR ADULTS ARE NOW UNDER ARREST WHILE THE TEENAGER REMAINS IN PROTECTIVE CUSTODY.
A 15-year-old Florida girl is now in protective custody following the arrest of four of her relatives.
Authorities took the family members into custody over allegations that the teenager endured repeated and escalating abuse.
The alleged mistreatment took place inside the family home.
Investigators identified the suspects as the girl’s uncle, aunt, cousin and sister.
According to the allegations, the teenager suffered a head injury during an encounter with her uncle.
Her uncle allegedly punched her in the face.
The punch caused the teenager to fall backward.
She struck her head against the corner of a desk as she fell.
Her head was reportedly bleeding after the impact.
But authorities allege that strike was only part of the abuse the teenager endured.
The 15-year-old was allegedly tied up by her relatives.
She was then confined inside a closet.
While held inside the closet, she was provided a bucket to use as a toilet.
Investigators say her knees were covered with oil before she was subjected to further punishment.
With oil on her knees, she was forced to kneel on uncooked rice.
The girl was allegedly forced to remain on the rice for several hours at a time.
Authorities say that punishment was repeated across multiple days.
And authorities further allege the teenager was restrained while relatives struck her toes with a hammer.
She was also subjected to extreme temperatures, according to investigators.
The family members stand accused of pouring boiling water on the teenager.
Her eyes were allegedly taped shut by the relatives.
The suspects are also accused of repeatedly dunking her head into cold water.
Cold water was also allegedly thrown on the girl while she was sleeping.
Yet despite the confinement, the teenager eventually found a way to seek help outside the residence.
She reportedly managed to contact her homeschool teacher.
The girl asked the teacher to send police to her house.
That request for assistance led law enforcement authorities to the home.
Police arrested all four adults allegedly involved in the abuse.
The 15-year-old was removed from the residence by authorities.
She is now in the custody of child protective services.
Authorities continue to investigate the full extent of what the teenager allegedly endured inside the home.
The charges are allegations and have not been proven in court.
