A 48-year-old Pierce Township man is facing a felonious assault charge in Ohio.
Investigators say he intentionally drove off the road and struck another man with his vehicle.
Jason Chadwick appeared in Clermont County Municipal Court on Friday.
During the court appearance, a magistrate set his bond at $1 million.
The case began Thursday evening on Wooded Ridge Drive.
According to Sheriff Christopher Stratton, multiple people called 911 around 5:54 p.m. to report an incident on the street.
Then callers reported that a man had been struck by a vehicle.
Investigators say the situation began minutes earlier with a confrontation between the victim and an adult woman.

Chadwick, who knew the woman, allegedly arrived afterward.
Detectives subsequently gathered witness statements.
They also obtained video footage of the incident.
Detectives said the witness statements and video footage showed Chadwick deliberately drive off the roadway and hit the man.
And authorities say Chadwick also admitted to detectives that he struck the victim with his vehicle.
Following the collision, the victim was transported to UC Medical Center.
He was reported in stable condition.
Chadwick is charged with one count of felonious assault.
He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Sept. 8.
The charges are allegations and have not been proven in court.
