“GET OFF MY CAR”!!! BELIEVE IT OR NOT, AUTHORITIES SAY DANIELLE HENRY ACCELERATED TO 45 MPH WITH A DOORDASH DRIVER CLINGING TO HER HOOD AFTER A PARKING LOT CRASH… AND SHE HAS BEEN SENTENCED TO UP TO 5½ YEARS IN PRISON.
On October 22, 2025, a minor collision occurred inside a Kroger parking lot in Westerville, Ohio.
The grocery store was located at 55 W. Schrock Road.
Police said then-34-year-old Danielle Henry had shoplifted from the store shortly before the incident.
She was driving a stolen vehicle when the collision occurred.
Authorities also said Henry did not have a valid driver’s license.
At the time, she had active warrants involving theft, receiving stolen property and failure to comply with police.
In the parking lot, Henry collided with a vehicle driven by Ibrahim Diakite.
Diakite was working as a DoorDash driver.
Following the minor impact, Henry drove away from the parking lot.
Diakite followed her in his vehicle.
The encounter escalated at the nearby intersection of West Schrock and Cooper roads.
Diakite reportedly pulled his vehicle in front of Henry’s car.
He exited his vehicle and stood in front of her car in an attempt to stop her from leaving.

Diakite eventually climbed onto the hood of Henry’s vehicle.
According to court documents, Henry jerked the vehicle several times.
Then she accelerated to approximately 45 mph while Diakite was still on the hood.
Diakite was pulled beneath the vehicle.
He was dragged approximately 300 to 600 feet.
The car then ran over him.
Henry fled the scene.
Diakite was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
On Oct. 25, 2025, authorities arrested Henry.
On Aug. 11, 2026, Henry pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide.
Franklin County Common Pleas Court Judge Jeffrey Brown later sentenced Henry to prison.
She received a minimum term of four years.
She received a maximum term of 5½ years.
And her driver’s license was suspended for life.
