A Florida truck driver allegedly shot and killed a warehouse worker after an argument over a tardy delivery escalated into gunfire, police said.

The worker then punched the trucker back, police said.

The driver allegedly pulled out a firearm and fired at the warehouse worker, authorities said.
The victim suffered fatal injuries in the shooting and did not survive, according to police.
Crump then left the warehouse behind the wheel of his semi-truck, authorities said. But investigators soon had a way to locate the fleeing vehicle, according to police.
After leaving the scene, Crump reportedly contacted the company for which he had been working as a contractor, authorities said.
The company cooperated with law enforcement following the call, according to investigators. That assistance allowed authorities to track the semi-truck and locate Crump, police said.
Authorities subsequently arrested the trucker and took him into custody, police said.
Crump was formally charged with second-degree murder with a firearm, according to authorities.
