A Georgia death row inmate faces execution by lethal injection on Wednesday following a denied clemency bid, state parole officials said.
Stacey Humphreys, 53, faces execution at the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison in Jackson, records show.
His execution is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, officials said.
In 2003, Cobb County real estate agents Cyndi Williams, 33, and Lori Brown, 21, were murdered, records show.
In 2007, Humphreys was convicted of malice murder and sentenced to death, according to court records.
Evidence presented at trial showed he robbed the two women and forced them to provide their bank PINs, prosecutors said. He then killed them, trial records show.
More than $3,000 was subsequently withdrawn from their accounts, according to trial evidence.
On Tuesday, Georgia’s State Board of Pardons and Paroles denied his clemency bid, officials said.

The request was denied after members considered the facts and circumstances of the case, the parole board said.
The state should reduce the sentence to life without parole, death-penalty opponents urged.
Attorneys for the condemned man are still pursuing another legal avenue to halt the execution, court filings show.
Humphreys should receive consideration under Georgia’s Survivor Justice Act, a 2025 law that can allow certain survivors of family violence or child abuse to seek reduced sentences when that abuse significantly contributed to their crimes, his attorneys argue.
