A Florida woman allegedly seduced and drugged a man she met at a casino in an elaborate ruse to steal his nearly $100,000 Rolex, according to court documents.
Lynda Mae Crouse, 32, is accused of preying on deep-pocketed bachelors she meets while out, according to Broward County arrest records.
The defendant allegedly used flirtatious persuasion to convince men to take her back to their homes or hotel rooms, records show. But once inside, she allegedly drugged them and fled with their high-end timepieces before they could wake up, the arrest documents state.
Authorities alleged that Crouse carried out the exact same scheme against several other victims.
The 32-year-old suspect was arrested on Friday for an April 12 timepiece theft, police said.
The victim in that case met Crouse around midnight at the Carousel Club in Hallandale Beach, court documents state.
The pair exchanged contact information before departing the club, according to the documents.
The man later sent an Uber to Crouse’s home to bring her back to his place, court documents state.
The two then began to drink together inside the residence. But as the host stepped away to change his clothes, he began to feel “funny” and “extremely tired,” a probable cause affidavit states.
The incapacitated victim said the last sound he heard before passing out was a clapping noise coming from his living room, according to the affidavit.
He also recalled Crouse excusing herself to leave the residence right before he lost consciousness, the affidavit states.

The man came to hours later and immediately ran to check on his watch, court documents state.
He suspected that the clapping sound had been the woman opening the lid of his Rolex box, according to the affidavit.
The victim rushed to inspect the container. His worst suspicions turned out to be true after he found that his 40 mm diamond-bedazzled Rolex Presidential was gone, the affidavit states.
The stolen luxury timepiece carries an estimated value of nearly $100,000, according to court records.
The victim later positively identified Crouse in a photo lineup, according to court documents.
The accused woman also faces four other open cases in Dade County involving similar allegations, records show.
Other victims described sharing a very similar experience after taking Crouse home for the evening. They reported waking up out of a fog only to find their pricey wrist jewelry missing, records show.
In one of those cases, a victim’s toxicology report revealed he had been drugged with zolpidem, NBC Miami reported.
The medication is a sleep aid known to cause rapid sedation, confusion and memory impairment, especially when combined with alcohol, the station reported.
No attorney information was available in court records. Crouse could not be reached for comment on the charges.
The defendant was formally charged with grand theft, records show.
Her bond was set at $2,000, which she paid, according to records.
