“I JUST PICKED HIM UP AND TOSSED HIM”!!! BELIEVE IT OR NOT, PROSECUTORS SAY BRIANNA RUFINA BLOYER TOSSED A TWO-YEAR-OLD BOY AND SEARCHED HOW TO FADE BRUISES BEFORE HE DIED… AND A PENNSYLVANIA JUDGE HAS NOW SENTENCED HER TO 20 TO 40 YEARS IN PRISON.
On August 16, 2024, an adult man arrived at a home on Old Lake Lynn Road in Springhill Township, Pennsylvania.
He discovered a two-year-old boy lying unresponsive inside the residence.
The toddler’s feet were propped up.
His face had turned blue.
The man called 911 immediately.
He then began administering CPR.
Emergency medical personnel transported the child to a hospital.
Medical staff at the hospital declared the boy brain dead.
On August 19, 2024, he died from his injuries.
Authorities identified the young victim as two-year-old Bentlee Myers.
An autopsy later determined Bentlee suffered fatal blunt-force trauma to his head.
The medical examination revealed a brain bleed.
Pathologists documented bilateral subdural hematomas.
The toddler had also sustained bilateral retinal hemorrhages.
Examiners found a broken left foot.
The autopsy further revealed internal injuries.
Authorities documented extensive bruising across Bentlee’s body.
Bruises were marked on his face, his head, and his ears.
Investigators documented additional bruising on his inner lip, his arms, and his legs.
Bentlee had been staying at the residence for several weeks.
He was staying with his father’s girlfriend, Brianna Rufina Bloyer.
Bloyer initially gave investigators an account of what happened that morning.
She told investigators Bentlee woke up the morning he was injured, stumbled around, and collapsed.
But her story shifted during a subsequent police interview.
She later admitted to police that she had picked Bentlee up.
Bloyer admitted she tossed him, causing the child to strike his head hard.
Between approximately 20 minutes and an hour later, a Head Start teacher arrived at the Springhill Township home.
The teacher found Bentlee unresponsive.

The teacher also began CPR on the toddler.
Phone records showed Bloyer never called emergency services after Bentlee suffered the fatal injuries.
Investigators subsequently conducted a search of Bloyer’s mobile phone.
A search of Bloyer’s phone uncovered multiple internet searches made on August 16, 2026.
Those queries included searches on how to get someone to come to after passing out.
Other queries included questions about being more angry while pregnant.
Bloyer searched how long a carpet imprint on the face takes to disappear.
She searched for homemade bruise cream.
She also searched what was best for making bruises fade overnight.
The case eventually proceeded to trial.
During Bloyer’s trial, prosecutors presented evidence showing Bentlee had cuts and bruises in various stages of healing.
Prosecutors argued that evidence indicated the toddler had suffered abuse over a period of time.
Bentlee’s father, Brent Bisset, was also interviewed by law enforcement.
Bisset initially told investigators that he first noticed his son’s bruises at the hospital.
And prosecutors said Bisset knew Bloyer had become stressed and frustrated with Bentlee.
Prosecutors accused Bisset of being complicit in the abuse.
They also accused him of failing to protect his young son.
Bisset later pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter.
He agreed to cooperate with prosecutors in Bloyer’s criminal case.
The court sentenced Bisset to four to eight years in prison.
Then Bloyer’s case went before a jury.
On August 6, 2026, a jury found 32-year-old Bloyer guilty of third-degree murder.
On August 26, 2026, Bloyer was sentenced to 20 to 40 years in prison for killing Bentlee.
Following the outcome, Fayette County District Attorney Mike Aubele addressed the proceedings.
Aubele called the case deeply emotional.
He said authorities were glad to see justice for Bentlee.
Bloyer was sent to state prison.
Bisset was sent to state prison.
The proceedings are concluded.
