“THEY ARE CALLING ME DRACULA NOW”!!! BELIEVE IT OR NOT, POLICE SAY ALAN DALE LEE WAS ARRESTED AFTER ALLEGEDLY STABBING A MAN IN FLORIDA… AND HIS BOOKING PHOTOS WENT VIRAL ACROSS THREE SEPARATE ARRESTS.
In September 2009, Alan Dale Lee was arrested in Dade City, Florida.
Lee was 43 years old at the time of the arrest.
Authorities took him into custody on an aggravated battery charge.
The charge stemmed from an incident in which Lee allegedly stabbed a man in the stomach.
When his booking photograph went out on the wire, the stabbing itself did not dominate the headlines.
Instead, public attention focused almost entirely on his teeth.
One officer told reporters, “It was hard to keep a straight face when the mug shot was taken. No one has ever seen teeth that bad.”
Police started calling Lee by the nickname Dracula.
The nickname stuck with him following the release of the image.
Lee was booked and held at the Land O’Lakes Detention Center.
His bond was set at $10,000.

But the arrests did not end after that initial case in Dade City.
In October 2010, Lee was arrested a second time.
That arrest was for selling and possessing marijuana.
Then, two years later, law enforcement took Lee into custody again.
In September 2012, Lee was arrested for a third time.
The September 2012 arrest was on a charge of methamphetamine possession.
Following that third arrest, his booking photograph went viral all over again.
The image spread widely for the exact same reason it had during his first arrest.
His facial features and teeth made him internationally famous on two separate occasions.
Yet no public record was found regarding how the original 2009 stabbing case was ultimately resolved.
No public record was found regarding the final outcome of the 2010 marijuana charges.
And no public record has surfaced showing the final resolution of the 2012 methamphetamine possession charge.
