“I WILL NEVER GET CAUGHT”!!! BELIEVE IT OR NOT, AUTHORITIES SAY REGISTERED OHIO SEX OFFENDER RYAN C. DRISCOLL DISTRIBUTED AND RECEIVED CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE MATERIAL IN MULTIPLE ONLINE GROUPS… AND HE HAS NOW BEEN SENTENCED TO 22 YEARS AND 10 MONTHS IN FEDERAL PRISON.
On August 18, Ryan C. Driscoll was sentenced in federal court.
Driscoll is 42 years old.
He is a registered Ohio sex offender.
Driscoll pleaded guilty to distributing and receiving child sexual abuse material.
The material involved infants, toddlers and young children.
It included a category known as “hurtcore.”
For those crimes, he was sentenced to 22 years in federal prison.
But that was not his only penalty.
Driscoll committed the new crimes while still under federal supervision from an earlier conviction.
The judge added another 10 months for violating his release.
That 10-month term is to be served after the 22-year term.
His combined sentence is 22 years and 10 months.
Investigators found more than 1,000 videos of child sexual abuse on Driscoll’s phone.
Investigators also found 800 images of child sexual abuse on the phone.
Court documents say he belonged to multiple online groups dedicated to distributing the material.

The case began with an international tip.
In June 2025, Homeland Security Investigations in Columbus received an international tip from its office in The Hague.
Homeland Security Investigations in Columbus then began investigating Driscoll.
Authorities charged Driscoll the following month.
In November, Driscoll pleaded guilty.

And this was not his first federal case.
Driscoll was previously sentenced in federal court in 2012.
In that 2012 case, Driscoll received five years in prison.
He also received 10 years of supervision following that prison term.
That sentence followed an investigation in which authorities found more than 800 videos of child sexual abuse.
Investigators in that earlier probe also found 2,000 images of child sexual abuse.
During that earlier investigation, the Justice Department said he told an undercover officer he was sexually interested in children ranging from newborns to 12 years old.
Prosecutors also said he invented stories about having a daughter who did not exist.
Prosecutors also said Driscoll offered to babysit his coworkers’ children.
Yet Driscoll committed the new crimes while still under federal supervision from that 2012 conviction.
The report also noted guidance for parents who encounter an account or online group distributing child sexual abuse material.
Parents are warned never to download, save or forward the material as proof.
Parents should preserve the username, link and message information without copying the illegal files.
They should then report it immediately to the platform, law enforcement or the NCMEC CyberTipline.
