A 16-year-old girl disappeared after getting out of a vehicle in New Orleans, police said.
Terryella Washington, 16, was last seen near Louisiana Avenue and Magnolia Street, according to authorities.
On September 12, 2026, around 3 p.m., the teenager was seen walking eastbound on Magnolia Street, police said.
The person driving the vehicle later reported her missing. Authorities have not publicly identified the driver or disclosed their relationship to her.
Washington is described as a Black female, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing around 160 pounds, police said.

She was last seen wearing a dark gray hoodie or hooded jacket, black jogging pants, black Crocs and a black bonnet, according to investigators.
Police classified the teen as a runaway, and they said she has a history of leaving without permission.
She was also reported missing in June 2025, when she was 14 years old, after leaving her residence following an argument, police said.
The teenager has been diagnosed with major depressive disorder, PTSD and oppositional defiant disorder, according to authorities.
As of September 13, 2026, Washington had not been publicly reported as located. The investigation remained active, police said.
