A pair of West Virginia smoke shop employees face felony charges following a multi-agency investigation into the business, authorities said.
The accused workers were identified as Brandi Harris and Megan Daniels, both employed at the Twisted Smoke Shack in Randolph County, according to investigators.
On Aug. 18, investigators executed search warrants at the Twisted Smoke Shack business, police said.
Authorities did not search only the commercial storefront, according to investigators. Search warrants were also executed at the homes of both employees, police said.
Deputies seized more than three pounds of illegal marijuana products during the operation, according to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators also confiscated four firearms and more than $16,000 in cash, the sheriff’s office said.
The West Virginia Department of Agriculture seized 32 boxes of additional products during the sweep, officials said.
Officials said the smoke shop was not legally permitted to sell those items due to licensing issues. The manufacturers had also not authorized the products for sale in West Virginia, according to authorities.
The operation was conducted jointly by the Mountaineer Region Drug & Violent Crimes Task Force, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, the West Virginia State Police and state agriculture officials, records show.
Harris and Daniels were both arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver, police said.
Both defendants were being held in custody at the Tygart Valley Regional Jail, authorities said.
