Pennsylvania man Robert Lee Weaver admits showing porn and sex toys to kids — as court orders violent predator assessment

Robert Lee Weaver, a 24-year-old Clinton County man, has pleaded guilty to two felony counts of corruption of minors.

Weaver entered the guilty pleas after admitting he repeatedly exposed two children to sexually explicit material.

Authorities said the actions occurred during January and February 2021.

According to authorities, Weaver repeatedly showed pornographic material and sex toys to the two victims.

The children exposed to the material were ages 10 and 13.

The criminal case against Weaver was originally filed back in 2021.

But the legal proceedings did not move forward immediately.

The case remained on hold for more than four years after Weaver’s attorney argued he was not competent to stand trial.

Legal action was paused while Weaver’s competency to face the charges was addressed.

In January 2026, President Judge Craig P. Miller ruled Weaver competent to proceed.

Then Weaver formally entered his guilty pleas on Aug. 25.

The defendant is now scheduled to be sentenced in December.

Before sentencing occurs, Weaver has been ordered to undergo a sexual-offender assessment.

That evaluation will determine whether he should be classified as a sexually violent predator.

And his sex offender registration obligations are already established.

According to the Clinton County District Attorney’s Office, Weaver will be required to register under Megan’s Law for at least 15 years.

The district attorney’s office stated that the 15-year registration requirement applies regardless of the predator determination.

Weaver remains scheduled for his sentencing hearing in December.
