“NOTHING IS WRONG OUT HERE”!!! BELIEVE IT OR NOT, AUTHORITIES SAY KRYSTAL ALEXANDRIA PINKOWSKI LEFT HER MOTHER’S NAKED BODY IN FECES ON THE PORCH WHILE CHILDREN LIVED WITH SIXTEEN DEAD ANIMALS… AND SHE HAS NOW RESOLVED HER CASE WITH TIME SERVED.
On March 16, 2023, police officers responded to a home near Highway 814 outside Myrtle Beach.
They arrived at the Horry County property to conduct an active death investigation.
Officers made their first discovery outside on the front porch.
They found the body of an elderly woman.
She was naked.
She was lying in feces.
The woman was later identified as Kathleen.
She was the mother of 37-year-old Krystal Alexandria Pinkowski.
Officers covered Kathleen’s body with a blanket where she lay.
Then investigators entered the residence.
Inside the home, conditions were described by investigators as deplorable.
Garbage was found throughout the property.
Feces was also found throughout the house.
Roaches infested the kitchen.
Investigators also discovered dead animals inside the home.
More than a dozen dead animals lay inside the rooms.
Sixteen dead animals were recovered in total.
Children were living in the home alongside those conditions at the time.

Pinkowski was initially charged with child abuse.
She was also initially charged with animal cruelty.
Authorities subsequently confirmed that Kathleen’s death resulted from neglect.
Following that finding, prosecutors added another charge to the case.
They charged Pinkowski with abuse or neglect of a vulnerable adult with great bodily injury.
Pinkowski later resolved the counts by pleading guilty.
She pleaded guilty to two counts of unlawful neglect of a child.
She pleaded guilty to one count of ill-treatment of animals.
And she pleaded guilty to one count of neglect of a vulnerable adult resulting in great bodily injury.
In September 2023, Judge Michael Nettles sentenced Pinkowski.
The judge imposed a sentence of 193 days on almost every charge.
That sentence represented time she had already served.
The 193-day term applied to every count except the neglect of her mother.
Yet the count involving Kathleen brought a different sentence.
On that charge, Pinkowski received a five-year sentence.
Judge Nettles suspended that term down to the same 193 days.
He also ordered two years of probation.
The case is fully resolved.
Pinkowski has already served her sentence.
