“HE DARED ME TO SHOOT HIM”!!! BELIEVE IT OR NOT, AUTHORITIES SAY A FLORIDA WOMAN FATALLY SHOT HER BOYFRIEND IN THEIR HOME, TOOK A DIAZEPAM PILL, AND SMOKED PART OF HIS MARIJUANA JOINT BEFORE DEPUTIES ARRIVED… AND SHE IS NOW FACING A SECOND-DEGREE MURDER CHARGE.
A 42-year-old Florida woman is facing a second-degree murder charge after authorities say she fatally shot her boyfriend during an argument inside their home.
Deputies responded to the residence at around 5:30 a.m. on Aug. 31.
The response followed a report from a relative stating that 42-year-old Stephanie Johnson had allegedly killed her boyfriend, 41-year-old David Wroblewski.
When officers arrived at the scene, Johnson was reportedly standing outside.
She told the responding officers that the couple had been fighting for days.
Deputies found Wroblewski inside the residence.
He was suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
Wroblewski was pronounced dead at the scene.
Statements regarding the shooting were later detailed in an arrest affidavit.
According to the arrest affidavit, Johnson told investigators that the couple had been together for roughly four years.
But she told them their relationship had deteriorated.
Johnson allegedly said Wroblewski had been yelling at her throughout the night.

Investigators said the fatal argument happened shortly after the couple had sex.
During the dispute, Johnson allegedly grabbed a gun.
She then pointed the weapon at Wroblewski.
Wroblewski responded by challenging her to shoot him.
Authorities allege Johnson then fired.
Then came what investigators described as particularly striking actions in the aftermath.
Investigators say Johnson took a diazepam pill before police arrived.
And investigators say she smoked part of Wroblewski’s marijuana joint before law enforcement reached the home.
Johnson reportedly told investigators that she was not afraid for her life.
She also said Wroblewski had never previously been violent toward her.
Johnson was arrested.
She faces a charge of second-degree murder.
Johnson is charged, not convicted.
The charges are allegations and have not been proven in court.
