A 58-year-old Kentucky man allegedly intentionally fired a handgun through the window of a truck occupied by three people, according to his arrest citation.
Matthew Adams, 58, was arrested in connection with a shooting Friday on Hudson Avenue in Lexington, police said.
Adams allegedly fired the handgun directly through the window of the vehicle while all three people were inside, according to the citation.
At least one person was physically injured in the shooting, according to court documents. Two people were previously taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Lexington police reported.
The truck sustained more than $500 in damage during the incident, according to his arrest citation.
Investigators said the defendant allegedly was not done following the gunfire, according to the citation.
Adams is also accused of trying to conceal the location of the gun used in the shooting, police said.
The 58-year-old is now charged with second-degree assault and first-degree wanton endangerment, according to court records.
He faces additional counts of tampering with physical evidence and first-degree criminal mischief, records show.
Adams is scheduled to be arraigned Sept. 8, according to court records.
