Lynda Mae Crouse allegedly stole a $98,000 diamond Rolex after her casino date passed out: cops

A Florida woman allegedly made off with a man’s $98,400 diamond Rolex after he brought her home from a casino venue, police said.

Lynda Mae Crouse, 32, is a Florida resident accused in the Broward County case, according to court documents.

On April 12, a man met Crouse at the Carousel Club inside Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, police said.

The pair exchanged Instagram accounts during the encounter, investigators said.

The man later sent an Uber to bring Crouse to his home, according to authorities.

The man told investigators that the two drank together before he suddenly began feeling unusually tired and “funny.”

Crouse reportedly left the home abruptly. The man fell asleep within minutes, police said.

Hours later, he discovered that his gold 40-millimeter Rolex Presidential was missing, according to detectives.

The watch featured baguette-diamond hour markers along with diamonds around the bezel, documents state.

The timepiece had a retail price of approximately $74,350, while a signed appraisal valued it at $98,400, police said.

The man told officers he believed he had been drugged. Authorities said he was never medically tested, leaving investigators without confirmation that any substance was in his system.

Police said they subsequently discovered four other active Miami-Dade County investigations involving similar circumstances.

In one separate investigation, toxicology testing reportedly detected zolpidem, a prescription sleep medication, in a man’s system.

Crouse has not been charged or convicted in connection with any of those four cases, records show.

On September 11, officers arrested Crouse on a charge of second-degree grand theft involving the Rolex in Broward County.

A judge found probable cause for the charge on September 14, court records show. Crouse has been charged but not convicted, and the accusations remain unproven in court.
