A 35-year-old South Carolina woman has been arrested following a shooting in Spartanburg County.
Deputies responded around 7 a.m. on Wednesday to a reported shooting on Gowan Road in Inman.
Upon arrival, authorities found a man suffering from a single gunshot wound.
Emergency responders transported him to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
And he remained at the hospital in critical condition.
Deputies detained 35-year-old Jasmine Marie Sanders at the scene for questioning.
Then investigators conducted an initial inquiry into the circumstances of the gunfire.

Following the investigation, deputies officially placed Sanders under arrest.
She was charged with attempted murder.
Deputies also charged her with possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Sanders was booked into the Spartanburg County Detention Facility.
She is currently awaiting a bond hearing.
But authorities have not released additional details regarding what led up to the shooting.
The investigation remains ongoing.
The charges are allegations and have not been proven in court.
