An Oregon man was sentenced to just over 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to child sex offenses across two counties, authorities said.
Grant Lee Goodell, 24, lives in Toledo.
Three children were involved across the two separate county cases, officials said.
In Benton County, the 24-year-old pleaded guilty to multiple charges involving two children, prosecutors said.
Those Benton County offenses included attempting to use a child in sexually explicit material, online sexual corruption of a child and luring a minor, court records show.
He faced additional charges in a separate Lincoln County case involving a third child, authorities said.
In that case, Goodell admitted to communicating sexually with the child on Snapchat and convincing the victim to create and send him explicit images, according to officials.
The defendant also admitted to possessing child sexual abuse material and engaging in sexual activity with the child, prosecutors said. Authorities said that abuse occurred in 2023.
A judge handed down a 70-month prison term in Benton County and an 86-month prison term in Lincoln County, records show.
Goodell will not serve the full 156 months consecutively because portions of the sentences will run concurrently, authorities said. His total prison term will instead stand at 121 months.
Following his release from prison, the convict must complete three years of probation, officials said.
Goodell will also be required to register as a sex offender, according to authorities.
