Tampa man Dewayne Gallishaw who shot invited guest in head during threesome handed two life sentences

“I AM GOING TO SHOOT”!!! BELIEVE IT OR NOT, INVESTIGATORS SAY DEWAYNE GALLISHAW SHOT A GUEST TWICE IN THE HEAD BEFORE ATTACKING HIS PARTNER AND FIRING INTO A NEIGHBOR’S APARTMENT… AND HE HAS NOW BEEN SENTENCED TO LIFE BEHIND BARS.

On April 19, 2023, Gallishaw and his 26-year-old partner invited a 23-year-old man to their apartment for a threesome.

His partner and the victim were having sex inside the residence.

While they were engaged, Gallishaw allegedly left the room.

Moments later, he returned carrying a firearm.

According to investigators, he then shot the victim twice in the head.

The young man was rushed to the hospital following the gunfire.

He later died from his injuries.

After the shooting, Gallishaw allegedly also attempted to kill his partner.

The partner managed to hide inside a bedroom.

While inside the room, the man called 911.

Gallishaw allegedly broke through the bedroom door.

The two men then struggled inside the residence.

But the partner eventually managed to force Gallishaw out of the apartment.

The partner then locked the apartment door.

Then Gallishaw allegedly fired several shots through the door before fleeing the scene.

A 72-year-old neighbor was also inside her apartment at the time.

She was struck in the foot by a bullet.

Investigators determined that at least 12 shots had been fired toward her apartment.

In July 2026, Gallishaw was convicted of first-degree murder.

He was also convicted of attempted first-degree murder.

And he was convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

On August 28, 2026, he received two life sentences.

One life sentence was imposed for the murder.

Another life sentence was imposed for the attempted murder.

He received an additional 30 years for the attack on the neighbor.

Dewayne Gallishaw will now spend the rest of his life behind bars.
